Today, I found my product at Clickbank. It’s a dog training program. I looked at it and read the sales page and decided to use it. It was ranked #1 at Clickbank in it’s category.
I also set my goals. The first one is to make 52 campaigns with it’s own lens in the first year. It’s kind of ambitious for me, but once I get the first one off and running I should be OK. I’ll learn the basics as I go.
I also learned the basics about buying a cheap domain name ($1.99!), and how to re-direct my affiliate link to my Squidoo lens. I will get a list of my keywords tomorrow.
I learned how to use two keyword tools, SEObook.com and the Google Adwood research tool. I also learned about using my best keyword in the URL of my lens. I need to use ONE keyword in my Squidoo URL and domain name. One lens per keyword.
I made sure my topic is a relatively obscure one, which I think it is.
I also downloaded two free reports form Affiliate Niche Club, which Pot Pie Girl said to do.
I set up a file in my file cabinet with “Project” on it’s tag, and got two new compostition books to take notes in.
I’m satisfied with the work I did today. I’m now on to Day #4!
And where you advertising the blog

I just put an update on Twitter. I also put my URL on my Facebook page and in 2 of the groups that I belong to on my Yahoo home page. Of course I would like to have readers, but I’m not going to use paid advertising, since I’m not selling anything! Hopefully Google and Yahoo’s search engine will put my blog in the beginning of their pages but I don’t think this blog is popular enough yet!
Of course if you start a commercial blog you will probably have to use paid advertising to make any sales!
Hope this answered your question.
